DataBox provides a facility to enter Web Site links, FTP links, file download or Mail capabilities to your published Web Data.
When you add data to your database you can specify the following prefixes in your data for the fields 1 through 20.

ftp:
http:
www:
file:
When DataBox finds data starting with these characters, the publishing wizard provides a 'clickable link' when the Web page for the associated record is published. This means you can embed links to other pages or sites, or initiate the Mail tool whenever a particular link is clicked.
By default, a published link will appear visible to the user exactly as entered in your database except that the link can be 'clicked'. If however, you would prefer a different value to appear to the user, but the action remains the same, simply append the display data to the link with 2 colon characters, "::".
E.g.
Visit AllWorld: http://allworld.com::Click here for AllWorld
DownLoad: ftp://download@xyz.net::Click here to download
MailUs mailto:sales@hms?subject=jackets and ties::Jackets & Ties
Without the "::" text appended, the user will see the link as entered in your database.
You can also add HTML as part of the normal data in your data fields. So in place of using the normal Image links for adding upto 4 images for each page, you can also embed icons or smaller images in the data locations themselves.
e.g.
<img src=animage.gif>
Clickable links can be included in the QuickView pages and the Search results pages.
NOTE: To maintain a consistent 'Box size' for your published pages, try and ensure that the data in each field is separated with spaces wherever possible, rather than one long piece of text. This will allow DataBox (and a browser) the option of 'wrapping' any text onto a second line to retain a consistent page width.
